Product Description and Compatibility Check

Step 1: If your garage door opens or closes when you short the wall button terminals using pliers, then your garage door opener is compatible. Otherwise, proceed to Step 2.

Check the compatibility list in the "Product guides and documents - User Guide" section to see if your garage door model is supported.

Step 2: If Step 1 fails, your garage opener is likely from Chamberlain/LiftMaster/Craftsman. The MSG100HK model will still work, but you may need an additional accessory. Please provide the learn button color of your garage opener to the Meross support team, and they will send you the appropriate accessory.

The existing wall button and remote control can still be used after installing the Meross garage door opener.

Installation Steps

1. Compatibility Check: Ensure your garage door model is compatible by checking the list.
2. Connect to WiFi: Connect your smartphone or tablet to a 2.4GHz WiFi network and ensure a strong signal.
3. Install the Sensor: Ensure the distance between the two sensors is less than 1 inch when the garage door is closed.
4. Deploy the Device: Install the sensor wire to the garage door opener, preferably on top of the existing opener.

If you have a mesh WiFi network with both 2.4GHz and 5GHz, temporarily turn off the 5GHz to ensure a stable connection during setup.
